stop word 07 from automatic minimizing other apps like calculator

Word 2007 will automatically minimize new apps I open such as Excel or
microsoft calculator. It will briefly display the app, then put it behind the
open document. To use those apps, I have to minimize word, then expand it
when I am done with the app. Is there a way to stop this?

That's nothing to do with Word. It sounds more like an AV bug or a Windows
problem. Maybe you have enabled X-mouse in the Mouse settings?
