Stop Word from capitalizing first letter of each item in list?

I'm creating a list of items such as:



Commented;

Argued;

Hypothesized;

Speculated;

Observed.



and Word keeps trying to capitalize the first letter for every item in the
list. How do I prevent it from doing this?

In Tools/Autocorrect menu deselect ³Capitalize first letter of sentences².

An alternative might be to separate the list lines with line breaks
(shift-return, I think) instead of paragraphs (return). I would only do this
if you think you might want the entire list to behave as one paragraph
anyhow (e.g., I think that should also keep it subject to widow/orphan
protection, and should prevent unwanted Space After if you have that set
between paragraphs).
