Stoplight

Can someone please, please, please tell me how to create
a "stoplight" field to show tasks/projects that are
falling behind schedule? I know this one has to be a no-
brainer but I just can't get it. HELP PLEASE.... :-(

Kent,

Create a custom field, of type number. (Tools >> customize fields, I
believe). Use the formula box to implement your formula for determining
"lateness". Then set the graphical indicator to use whatever color light you
want, based on the value returned by the formula.

If you want this field to be used by all projects across the enterprise,
make it an Enterprise Field. (Tools >> Check Out Enterprise global, then
Tools >> customize Enterprise Fields.)
