stopping an unwanted requery

Hi All,

i have a main form based on a query that presents the user with a list
of customers (frmCustomers), The user is able to view/update the
customer's details by clicking the 'view' button, which calls another
form by the code;

DoCmd.OpenForm "frmCustomer", acNormal, , "ID = " & Me!
sfrCustomers.Form.Controls!ID, acFormEdit, acWindowNormal

My problem is that when the users finsihes with second form
(frmCustomer) and closes it, the frmCustomers form appears to requery,
when i actaully want it to stay on the same record that has just been
viewed / updated.

Any pointers on how this can be achieved will be appreciated.

There's no logical reason why closing a form would have any impact on any
other forms.

Do you have any code in the GotFocus event of the first form?
