Stopping background sound when flash is started

I've got out theme music loaded as a background sound, but we want it to stop
playing when folks play the flash preview -- how do I do this?!? I've
disabled the background sound until I can resolve this, but the website is
www.heartofthevalley.info

Consider embedding it into the Flash file so action script can detect when
the Flash is loaded

How do I do that? (the flash file was presented to me to upload, and it's my
ifrst time dealing with these!). Thanks!!!
