stopping columns for one page

M

montrois

I am creating a several page document in two column format. There is one
page in the middle the I want to be a full width, but I can't figure out how to
do this without making the previous pages also full page.

How do I "turn off" the columns for a page or partial page within a
document?

Thank you.

Insert section breaks (Next Page if the whole page is to be one column,
Continuous if not) at the beginning and end of your full-page section.
With the cursor in the full-page section, choose Format/Columns. Set the
number of columns to 1, making sure that the "Apply to" dropdown is set
to "This section".
