Stopping Message when Mail Merging

N

Noel

Hi. A reply to a post over on the Access newsgroup
suggested that it was possible to stop the message coming
up when you call up a Mail Merge document. The message
tells the user that the Word document being opened is
about to merge with records in a database and quotes the
source. Can this be stopped somehow? Also, does the
method of stopping it result in another message? I had
this problem in the past - I used a macro to stop a web
toolbar coming up but a message appeared, warning me of
potential viruses in the Macro. So I was no better off
really. Thanks, Noel

Thanks for this Doug but the web address you quote comes
up as not found. Have you got it right? Thanks again, Noel

I just copied and pasted it into my browser and the expected article came
up. Give it another try.
