Storing Details into a table

Hello,

I wish to store the folowing details into a LOGON table, for furture ref to
see who has logged into the database:

Employee Number, Surname, Work Section.

I have created a form with unbound fields for the citeria above. When the
user enters his/her details and clicks on a Open form button, the Works
forms open and supplies details for only the Work Section information
supplied above. This works well.

What I'd like to do, is record the log on details above in a TblLogon. I
cannot work it out. I have tried an Append Query but to no joy.

Any help greatly appriciated.

An append would be the way to go - could you post the SQL?
