Storing personal folders on another disk

Hello,

I am trying to store my personal folder on a separate disk, so that they are
not lost when I format my partition to re-install windows. I know how I can
create archive folder on a separate partition, but I do not manage to change
the location of the Personal folder.

Any idea?

with OL closed move the *.pst file to wherever
or copy it.

After closing Outlook, copy your .pst file(s) from your hard drive
onto other media, such as a CD.

But if you want your PST to be available to Outlook from the new location,
you have to additionally proceed as follows (this is for O2003):
File -> DataFileManagement
Highlight the moved pst and clicj Remove
Click Add, Office Outlook File (.pst)
Browse to the new location of your moved pst and select it.
