Storing Projects in Access MDB (eventually SQL Svr)

Where can I find a "how to" article on using a database to
maintain Project data?

I'm currently extracting task data from a non-Project
database and programatically placing it in Project 2000
via automation. I'd like to save the resulting Project
data into a MSDE database, using that database as the
primary repository for the data from that point on. The
goal is to allow users to use MS Project manage the work,
but to centralize reporting and backup with MSDE.

We would prefer a solution using the resources that we
already have (MS Project 2000, MS Access, MSDE), rather
than purchasing new software.
