Storyboards in Visio?

M

MARILYN OLANDER

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know of templates -- or a template -- for creating storyboards in Visio?

Are there any suggestions, shortcuts, cautions, whatever for storyboarding in Visio, with or without templates?

Many thanks,

Marilyn

Not exactly what the "DIN Official Storyboard" spec shapes might be (grins), but it's so easy to draw rectangles and ovals and add text, move them around, format fill, line, text colors etc. Very free form.

Also, you can import bitmaps and other foreign object quite easily from the Insert > Object / Picture menus. When you import a bitmap, you automatically get text attached to the shape at the bottom. That means you could import an illustration, select and type, and bam, you've got story text underneath the illo.

Check out Visio Extras > Callouts for interesting callout and word balloon shapes.

Hope I'm somewhere near the mark...
