Straight connectors as default (visio 2000)

I've found some code that converts connectors to straight:

But I'm interested in having straight connectors aas the default. Is
this possible in Visio 2000? 2003?

Don't know about 2000, but in 2003, go to File>Page Setup>Layout and Routing
tab. Under style select straight.
