Strange Behavior when in a subform field and record of main form is changed.

I have an access database where the form contains several
subforms. If I am in a field in the subform and I cange
to the next record on the main form, the text in the
subform field, on the new record, is highlighted
(selected) even though the defualt behavior for entering
a field is to place the cursor at the end of the field (I
set this when the application starts, and it works when I
am switching between subform records, or fields on the
main form, but not fields on the subform when switching
records on the mainform). Hope that wasn't too
confusing
