Good morning.
One of our Outlook 2003 users has a strange problem. He uses blue text for
new messages, replies, and forwards. No problem there. However, from time to
time, when he replies to a message that is in blue text, or forwards a
message that is in blue text, either of the following happens.
1. With replies AND forwards, the checkbox before "All" (to show all
formatting marks) becomes checked, even though none of the options were
checked before. In addition, formatting marks (paragraph marks, etc.) are
displayed in the message.
2. With forwards, the forwarded message is not displayed at all. A
longer-than-usual cursor-horizontal line shows. Once he types anything--even
a single letter, paragraph marks appear, and the forwarded message appears.
The "All" checkbox has to be cleared, but the same thing happens the next
time he replies to or forwards a message that has blue text.
Needless to say, the user finds this very annoying.
Suggestions are most welcome!
