Hi,
I am experiencing a strange behaviour and would like to hear your advice.
The system: We have Project Server 2007 on a MOSS farm with SP2 and April CU.
The problem: We have a scheduled security groups sync with the AD during the
night. Each morning it says "Successful" (not partial and not failed). But
users added or removed from an AD group are not added or removed to/from the
corresponding security group.
The ULS logs state that the users have been added or removed from the group.
If I manually trigger the sync in the AD sync options then the users are
added/ removed correctly.
So - is there a difference between sychronizing manually or scheduled? Why
does the system tell me it was successfully updating the resources when it
failed?
Thanks for your opinion
