Hello,
I have been having a specific problem with word 2003.
for some reason whenever I start a new document every
second line of text wants to be a TOC ( table of contents ).
this changes the text format and is incredibly annoying as
every time I hit the enter key to change line or finish a
sentence it alternates between my chosen font and the TOC2
( as this is what it defaults to).
I have tried deleting the TOC2 but it persistently re-appears.
I have also re-installed Office and applied all the latest
updates for Office 2003.
Also I have looked in all the auto-formatting menus for
some mysterious ticked box that is making this problem occur.
Lately it is also begun to display this erratic behaviour
in Outlook as well, when I type emails it appears to change
text on every alternate return in exactly the same manner .
We have all antivirus software updated and after running a
full system scan it has not highlighted any threats.
spyware has also been run on the machine and no serious
threats were found.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
Tnx
Darius
