Hello,
I have an Access 2000 multiuser application running at a client's office.
The client file is set to compact on close.
When I give them an update I have noticed that the file is significantly
smaller on their machines.
I bring a file that is around 5.7 MB on my machine, after compacting on any
one of their machines it ends up at less than 4 MB
We are all running Office 2000 with all the service packs on Windows 2000
Pro, also with all the service packs. My Win 2000 uses FAT32, but I also
have a laptop running Windows XP Pro with NTFS, and the file sizes on my
machines are similar.
Does anyone know what could cause this?
Any help with this would be appreciated.
