Strange dialog box opens when I click on new mail

I just upgraded my office systems to the latest updates on microsoft's site.
Now, when anyone hits the New Mail button in Outlook they get a dialog box
that says:

"A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook.
Do you want to allow this? If this is unexpected, it may be a virus and you
should choose NO."
There is a selection to Allow access for 1 - 10 minutes and a Yes, No, &
Help Button

The big question is how to stop this coming up every time someone hits New
Mail?

I've gotten that message occasionally myself. Are your users supposed to be
using Outlook Express? If so, check to make sure that Outlook Express is
specified as the default email program. Some MS patches will reset it to
Outlook.
