Can anybody tell me what this error message means? I get this every time I hit the "Send/Receive" button. Everything seems to be functioning normally otherwise.

Thanks for the help!

Sounds like a malformed address. Check for a space, quotes, brackets. Best
option would be to delete the contact in the Address Book and add a new one
from an email you received using "add to Address Book " (short cut
Command-Option-C)

Interesting theory Diane and thanks for the response. However my messages ARE being sent (and received) normally and this message appears EVERY time I hit that button no matter who I am sending (or receiving) mail to.

Some might say that the solution to my problem is to simply never push that button. However I am worried that there is actually something wrong with my account.

Is this your account? Are you using Gmail to send? If yes, your user name
should include the domain name.

You could test in a new Identity to see if this is some weird form of
database corruption.
