Strange Error when PM accept Task progress updates

Dear anyone,

We are using MS Project Server 2003 with PWA.
One project manager got error message when he accepted task progress update
of his resource from PWA.

There were only 4 task updates from a resource. PM clicked "accept all" and
click "Update" from Update page of PWA. Then MS Project 2003 opened the
project file and show error message: "The message could not be opened because
it contains an attachedment in a format that can not be read.".

In PWA update page, the updated tasks were still there and we can not change
accept/reject. It's looked like it was locked.

We tried update again. Then we have the same situation.

What should we do? What's wrong? Please help.

Weerayuth:

Can you accept them one at a time? If not, it may indicate corruption in the
project file. You might try this:

If this therapy doesn't help, you can save the project as an mpp file,
delete the copy from the server and use the import wizard to import the
project back to the server.

Dear Gary

Thank you for your help.
I save the project as mpp in my PC and then import it to server again.
I tested update 2-3 tasks. It's seem ok.
Then I changed PM owner back to original PM.
It worked!
