strange fields in table

I am working on a database that I did not create. It has some strange
fields and I want to know why they are there.
Gen_COMMENTS data type number
s_Generation number
s_GUID auto number
s_Lineage ole object

I read something about them but don't know where I found the information.

These fields are created in replicated databases.

System objects is not checked. These fields are listed in the design view
and datasheet view. I think this data base was originally created with 97
and converted to 2000. I am updating it with 2003.
Thanks for the previous information. I can just ignore the fields.
