Strange form/control behaviour !?!

I have a form that contains a listbox and underneath it a tab control. There
is a button alongside the listbox that is used to maximize/minimize the
listbox height (overlaying the tab control).

Some of the tabs on the tab control contain listboxes.
When I am on one particular tab and I maximize the upper listbox, the
listbox on the tab 'shows thru' the maximized listbox. This does not happen
with listboxes on other tabs. Any clue as to what could cause this ??? I'm
using Access 2003 under Win XP.

?You have a listbox that grows and shrinks?

That sounds like ... a combo box! Is there a reason not to be using a
combobox instead?

(and I haven't run across what you're seeing, but you could search on-line
and see if anyone else has...)
