Hey, I've been looking for help everywhere with no luck. To put it simply, Word is being very annoying. Every file I open is now in a weird view. The actual text is shoved into the upper left hand corner of the screen (leaving a huge swath of empty space), which means I can't actually read anything I open without extreme difficulty. There is no bar in the lower right corner that will allow me to drag and maximize the window for a better view. The actual files are fine and I've opened them with not trouble on other computers.

Does this make any sense?

I'm afraid your description isn't really too clear... Are you saying that
the text is shoved into the upper left corner of each *page*, that the page
itself is shoved into the upper left corner of the window, or that the
window itself is shoved into the upper left corner of your screen? Is the
"empty space" on the page or in the window?

I'm also a little unclear as to what "bar" you're looking for. Document
windows on a Mac have diagonal marks in the lower right corner which is
where you drag to resize the window. If they aren't displaying, are there
any other elements missing as well? Alternatively you can use the rightmost
of the three buttons at the left end of the window's Title Bar to
Maximize/Restore the window... Have you tried that?

Also:

What View are you using? Does switching Views make any difference?
What is the exact update level of Office?
What is the exact update level of OS X?
Can you think of any other details -- remember, we can't see what you're
seeing so it depends on the completeness & accuracy of the description you
provide for anyone to visualize the situation.
