Hi All
I have some strange happenings with outlook this last I guess month that I
can't figure out. Our company uses bespoke stationery using HTML. The HTML
page and 3 image files are stored in Program Files>Common Files>Mircosoft
Shared>Stationery...the same for the whole company.
Some of us are not seeing the images in the stationery when we send or
receive from colleages, it seems only to be an internal thing. All we see is
three crosses, the usual crossess.
I have checked the path and tha's correct, and the images.
We had an issue with an update which gave us errors cause we use CRM.
Microsoft have now given us a fix and we have apllied that. I do beleive this
problem may have existed prior to the updates.
Our usual settings (tools>options>mail format>message format) for the
stationery to work would be to NOT tick the boxes that say: "Use Microsoft
Office Word 2003 to edit email messages" and
"Use Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to read read rich text email messages".
So for the images to appear we have to check these two boxes, which in turn
removes are Signature facility within the email.
So im summary if I tick the two boxes then it works, if I dont tick the two
boxes it doesnt work, althoough it works like this on other peoples machines
in the company.
Has anybody else experienced this problem or can anyone shed some light. I
have spent hours trying to solve it.....
