I have exchange 2007 and outlook 2007 at my office. We email newsletters in
html format which are often rich with images. Each and every time we have
an email constructed I have the same discussion with marketing and my ceo,
who state "the images did not download, I had to right click and choose
download image" I then have to again explain that this is the defualt
security in Outlook 2007 as well as many client and webmail applications. I
have to explain that we have no control when sending an email over the
settings of the recipient.
But today marketing through me a curve ball. They sent me an apple
newsletter which when anyone in my office recieves it, the images open,
without choosing to download images. I checked and apple is not listed in my
trusted sites zone, I checked the newsletter and the images are urls to
apple.com. Why are they downloading automatically at my office.
Please help, this is giving me a massive headache.
