I have Microsoft Office Home and Student Edition installed on my HP 6710b
laptop. It has functioned flawlessly for two years. Now, however, every time
I open PowerPoint, I get a message that says: "Your trial period of PFC media
has expired and it will now operate in a reduced functionality mode. We thank
you for testing PFC Media. To restore full functionality, register it with
the Automated online registration. Thank you from the staff at AT&W
technologies."
No other Office program sends this message upon opening. I installed Office
myself and still have the disk. I inserted it and clicked "repair," and after
an hour i was told to reboot which i did, but that message keeps popping up
when I open PP.
I thought about uninstalling and re-installing, but I didn't want to risk
losing all my Word, Excel, PP, and One-Note files.
Can anyone help with suggestions? TIA.
