I've recently encountered a strange problem with the Outlook 2003
autocomplete function.
We needed to recreate one of the users on our exchange server because there
was an issue with his account. The user name for this person is
(e-mail address removed).
Now, the problem exists when trying to email jmca. I've cleared his name
from my autocomplete cache in Outlook. But when I repopulate it (by sending
him an email), the next time I start typing jmca into the "To" field, it says
"JMCA55295850".
I've deleted this name and re-entered it several times and it reappears
every time. It also happens when any of the other users in our domain try to
email him.
If you select JMCA55295850, the email will still be sent to (e-mail address removed).
But it's very frustrating that right user name doesn't show up in the
autocomplete list.
Does anyone have an idea why this might be happening?
Thanks,
Gary
