Strange System Lockdown

My computer is not letting me log on, but I am using my net book to write
this, anyway my laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1520 and it is not letting me log
on. I tried using my guest account but when I got in, I got restricted from
everything you can do on a Windows XP Pro Guest account. I can't even access
the internet. It only stayed alive for about 10 minutes before it crashed
and I got the blue screen of death. I rebooted it and it worked in safe
mode, but that restricts you from doing lots of things as well, and I
remember last time I waited to long, and my technician couldn't even boot it
up into safe mode, I had to get a new hard drive then.
What can be done, as this stinks. I also got a message yesterday that
something was wrong with the Boot ROM or something, then after 10 seconds of
that message, it booted into safe mode like normal.

This sounds like a hardware problem. You need to post your question in Dell
forum (or even call them) as this is the newsgroup for Microsoft Access.
