I have been using Word 2003 for the last couple of years and the
scenario I am about to describe has happened only twice, but it is
annoying:
I receive an original document from somebody else, and with revision
tracking ON, I make my edits. During the session, all of my revisions
appear tracked to me, as evidenced by putting the mouse pointer over
any of the altered text or formatting. I then go to save the document
to disk. As the save completes, the color of the tracked revisions
changes, and the information displayed for each attributes the change
to "Author," essentially removing any association between myself and
the changes I just made.
Any help on the cause?
Thanks,
RonK
