Strange virus-like activity in Office 2000 Professional

Whenever I type a "y" or a "u" in either the Outlook 2000 message form or in Word 2000, the cursor jumps to the position of the mouse cursor. Is this a hidden macro and if so, how do I turn it off? Please advise. Thanks.

If you have speech turned on, turn it off or mute your microphone.
