Only with a framed site. Put the audio in the top frame.

and insert the player in the popup window.

I hadn't thought of that...i suppose it could be a hidden frame?? that
wouldn't change the look of the existing site.

Good idea, but if the user has popups blocked then they don't get the music
with the site. This is for a church site that wants the choir singing in the

Would you want to hear the same music every time you visit the site or what happen if you are at
work and want to visit the site? Give users the choice of not hearing the music.

It would change the behavior though because your site would still be in
frames, even if one isn't visible. That would mean that the search engines
would have the same trouble as a regular frame page, and bookmarks would
only take a user to the frameset page and not the actual content.

Easily create and edit pop-up windows. Pop-up windows created with Spawn
will work with most pop-up blockers including the one that comes with
Windows XP SP2.

If a pop-up blocker blocks a Spawn pop-up, the link will still be displayed
in a normal browser window.

OK, I decided to experiment with Spawn. Popup was blocked, but Windows Media
Player opened and began playing the music. This is acceptable to me because
the user can turn it off via the Windows Player and elect not to hear it if
they choose. Two questions come to mind...how current will their media player
need to be for this to work on a user's machine, and what will happen if they
are using some other browser? Will their default media player kick in?

BTW...thanks for all the response to my questions, this really is a big help!!
