strikethrough on bullets

I am getting a strikethrough on bullets and I do not have 'tracking changes'
turned on and my font does not have a strikethrough on it. How can I bullet
a sentenance without this. It only occurs in a portion of my document. I
have not had this problem in the rest of it.

Display nonprinting characters so that you can see the paragraph marks (¶)
at the ends of paragraphs. Select just the paragraph mark at the end of one
of the affected paragraphs and press Ctrl+Spacebar. Does that help?
