Strips Left-Up transition

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

The 2008 version of the Strips Left-Up transition makes annoying stripes appear as it transitions. It used to look like turning the page of a book, now it looks like fumbling with venetian blinds! Any alternative book turning transition ideas?

Hi Mary Clare -

I see no difference in that transition... Are you sure you aren't thinking
of the Cover or Uncover. Perhaps the the speed setting causes the illusion?
Even if not, those others may be an alternative.
