STS and SSL Do They Work Together?

I have setup my PWA site to use SSL and tried to do the
samething with STS but could not get it to work.

I login to PWA and click on issues or documents and it
will not link to STS. I try to check the Use SSL boxes
under Admin -> Manage Sharepoint Team Services but it
just times out.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. The only reason I
am using SSL at all is because I have people coming in
from the Internet to access the PWA.
