The short answer is yes. STS and SSL will work together. There are,
however, some limitations to implementing Sharepoint Team Services over the
Internet. Sharepoint requires Windows User Accounts. There is an article on

| I have just implemented SSL on my PWA and STS in IIS. My
| PWA works fine but when I click on documents or issues I
| can no longer connect to STS and could before I
| implemented SSL. I have tried to check the boxes
| requireing SSL in PWA Admin, Manage Sharepoint Team
| Services but it just times out. Can I implement SSL or do
| I need to forget it? The only reason I am using SSL is
| because I have users that come in through the internet.
