STS Problem

Hi everyone,

Im getting this error message when trying to install STS:

Share point team services failed to provision default
website. The reason could be that you entered incorrect
database information ….

I read article # psrv2002 or Q323024 and it says * Front
page * should not be installed. I removed it but I still
get the error message. I have SP3 installed. Could it be
the reason?

Hi Anahita,

What did you enter for the database username/password? I would recommend
you use a SQL-only account, like sa or similar.
