I will frequently will cut and paste something into a Word document. On
occasion, when I do this, it goes into my document in some font *other* than
what I am currently using - usually the original font. When I highlight the
text to change the font it refused to change.
For example: I'm working in 12-pitch Times New Roman font. I cut and paste
something into my document that is in 10-pitch Arial font. I select that
font and change it to 12-pitch Times New Roman but it stubbornly will not
change. It remains in the original font and seems locked in.
Why does it do that?
Is there something I can do to change the text?
