I am running Outlook 2007. I have noticed that when I send emails, the status
message indicates that I have an additional message being sent. For example,
if I have 2 emails in my outbox, when the email is sent, I get a message that
says 3 emails are being sent. Thus, I assume that I have an email "stuck"
somewhere but do not know where to look to find it.
I am using IMAP. Going to the web-cased email client, there is no outbox
there. Checking with my information systems people who run the IMAP mail
server, I have been informed that there is no outbox per se on the IMAP
client. Mail is sent immediately.
Any idea what I can try to do to figure out what old email is stuck and
delete it?
Thanks.
