Student requires a favour...

Hello Project experts,

The story so far: I'm familiar with the rudiments of project management
and need to apply this in my work at a not-for-profit organisation
involved in on-the-job training for the disadvantaged.

I'm trying to come to grips with using MS Project as a PM tool. To this
end, I'm using Project 98 installed on a low-spec pc and a computer
based training programme designed for Project 2000. Yes I know that
sounds silly, but I haven't been able to find a free Project 98 online
course and we can't afford to upgrade to Project 2000 at present, so
needs must.

So here's the favour: my course uses as a tuition example the
residential construction project plan downloadable from
http://office.microsoft.com/templat...igin=CT062640421033&CategoryID=CT062640421033

This, being created in a version >= Project 2000, will not open in my
Project 98. Would some kind soul be able to point me to a link for a
version of this Project file in W98 format, or be able to download said
file, save it in W98 format, and email it to me at the address below?

Many thanks in advance. From what I've read of this ng so far, I'll be
back often. Hope that's OK with you :)

Kind regards,
Gillian

This ng is brilliant! My sincere thanks to Julie for emailing me the
requested file so quickly.

As I said earlier, I'm sure I'll be back with loads more "baby
questions' now that I can embark upon the Project learning curve.
I reckon I've found the right place to ask them :)

Thanks again,

Gillian.
