Since there are only 3 loads in this edition, if the OS crashes and I
have to reload Office will I need to use a different load product key
to reload?

3 keys aren't three loads. You can always re-install (reload) the same
program with the same key onto the same computer. 3 keys allows you to have
3 networked computers all using the program at the same time, all installed
from the same purchase.

In WinWord, to activate a program that has been reinstalled you might have
to telephone and tell them it's a re-install, not piracy.

MacWord doesn't have activation, so the only check they have is whether a
program with the same key is on the same network. Plus some updates have
canceled keys that were known to be pirated.

PS. ONLY! You clearly don't recognize what a great savings this is off the
regular price! :)

An OS crash shouldn't necessitate reloading Office (a hard disk crash
probably would).

In any case, you can just reenter the CD code. Student Teacher includes
3 licenses, not 3 loads - you can load as many times as you want.
MacOffice (unlike WinOffice), doesn't require activation, or any other
contact with MS - it uses a local mechanism for license verification.
