Student Version of Microsoft office....

Hello! I saw a student version of Microsoft office for $59.00. I would love
to buy it for that price. Since the kids use my network for homework do I
qualify to purchace it at that price? (OK, MCSETrainee was a handle that I
used way back in 2003 when I was working on the MCSE. I got the MCSE, MCDBA
and and working on the MCTS... I guess I had not been in here in quite a
while).

If the $59 price was for the Ultimate Steal version of Office then you or
your child would need to go through a university to obtain it (student with
an .edu email address) or meet one of the other requirements for this
package. It is for higher education students, not high school.

Office Home and Student could be what you are looking for but I have never
seen it at that price. Amazon.com has the best price and it currently is
available for $79.99 shipping included. There is one also on that site for
London Books @ $59+ + 3.99 shipping but this is a totally new seller and
when checking for specifics there is absolutely no documentation telling who
that is. They have not even specified a return policy so I would really be
hesitant purchasing from them.
