Style Crash

Word crashes when I try to change a style from the Format menu or the
Formatting Palette. Problem just started this morning! Tried to reinstall
Office 2004 and rebooted computer. Didn't help. Reinstalled WordX, it
works fine.

I just wanted to add:
The problem was apparently due to one or more corrupted preference files.
I trashed all of the Office 2004 preference files and that took care of it.
