I have a document with numbered paragraphs. The numbered paragraphs each
contain a bold and underlined heading followed by regular body text. I have
applied styles to each heading so that they show in the table of contents
along with the paragraph number. I have inserted a style separator after the
heading to allow the remainder of the paragraph to have the body text style,
and to prevent this section from showing in the table of contents.
I have modified the style to indicate that the "style for following
paragraph" should be body text.
I would like to be able to insert a new numbered paragraph at any point
within the document, type the heading, insert the style separator and
continue on with body text. However, when I try this, after inserting the
style separator, I am automatically taken back to the normal style.
Does anyone know how to remedy this?
Thank you very much.
