StyleRef Field

I have a small problem with the StyleRef Field in Word 2003. In the Header
section I inserted first the StyleRef Field for heading 1 and in the next
line heading 2.

On my first page there is no heading 2 and I would like Word to leave it
blank but instead it inserts the heading 2 of the next heading available
which results in something like this:

(header section/page 1) 1. Introduction
2.1
Subject a
1. Introduction
........................................................................................
(header section/page 2) 2. Subject
2.1
Subject a

2. Subject
2.1 Subject a

I want it to look something like this (without 2.1 Subject a in the header
section of page 1)

(header section/page 1) 1. Introduction

1. Introduction
........................................................................................
(header section/page 2) 2. Subject
2.1
Subject a

2. Subject
2.1 Subject a

How can fix this?

If only page 1 is the problem use a conditional field to insert the errant
Styleref field eg

{IF {Page} > 1 "{Styleref "Heading2"}"}
Thus it will only display from page 2.

Unfortunately, I get this on all those pages where there is only Heading 1
and not Heading 2. Is there another conditional field I can use that omits
Heading 2 in the Header section when there isn't one in the main body?
