Styles and Formatting

Hi,

I have an document with different number formats for contents and
appendices. For contents i have used word heading styles heading 1, 2
....... for Appendices i have used my own created styles . But when i
generate TOC only the contents appear , not the headings of Appendix
appears.

Please help

You need to explicitly include the created styles in the TOC. You can do
this in either of two ways:

1. In the TOC Options, you can type a level number next to your style.

2. In the style definition, you can select an outline level other than Body
Text; then the headings will automatically be included in the TOC.
