Styles and Table of Contents

Hi folks --

I have put together a table of contents for my document which uses
three different style headings. I've noticed that words with style
formatting will not appear in the table of contents unless they are at
the beginning of a sentence.

Some of the terms I want in the table of contents, though, appear
mid-sentence. Although I've defined them with the correct style, they
do not appear in the table.

Is there a way around this?
