The way I read Word documentation, addin .dot templates take precedence over
normal.dot. In my case, the reverse seems to apply - addins have no effect
on styles included in normal.dot.
I have tried placing the template in either the Word Template folder or the
Startup folder, and activating it via Tools/Addins and Templates. The only
way I can get the desired styles is to open a document that includes the
styles.
I would like to keep a group of special styles separated from normal.dot.
