Sub-project Issues

Hello. I have a project manager that is having a couple of recurring issues
with her a sub-project.

Our environment configuration is as follows: MS Project 2007 and MS Project
Server 2007. We have a master project with about 11 sub-projects for which
she is responsible for one of the 11 sub-projects.

She is seeing the following random behavior:

1. Remove of the level 0 project summary task
2. Change in font size on the group-level tasks.
3. Blank lines added throughout the project.

We will correct the issues but then new issues appear or the same issues
reappear later on. Don any of these issues carry through from the master
project or are there MS Project settings that could be causing this?

Hello Trisha,

My *guess* is that someone is changing the master project and yes,
those changes are written to the subproject file. However, I do not
use Project Server extensively, so I'd suggest reposting your
question to the Project Server Newsgroup. You're more likely to
catch the attention of one of the server "gurus" there.
