subdatasheet in form doesn't show (+) if user has edit rights

I have a master form with data from table A; it's subform (datasheet view)
has data from table B (relation is A->B one-to-many); subdatasheet also
should provide data from table C using the (+) on each record (B->C
one-to-many on a different indexed field than A->B uses).User-level security
is established for Admins, Edit and Read-Only.Read-Only users can expand the
subdatasheet records normally in the form but Edit and Admins do not have the
(+) available to expand a record. If Insert, Update and Delete rights are
taken away for table B, Edit and Admin will see the datasheet in the form
correctly but, naturally, can't enter new data or edit data. In tables all
datasheets expand correctly for all user levels.Any ideas? Whatever insights
or assistance you can offer is greatly appreciated as I am completely stumped
at this point
