OneNote on 2 networked machines, I sync the data between them. OneNote data
files are on a different partition from program files (both machines), these
data partitions are shared. All of a sudden I can no longer sync the files
in the OneNote subfolder I use most often; when I try to see those files
resident on the desktop from the laptop machine, Windows (I'm running XP Pro
on both machines) now reports that the subfolder is inaccessible because I
lack permission.
This happened once before, and I recreated the subfolder in question. The
replacement subfolder (same name as the original) was visible from the other
machine for several weeks, then the problem returned. So far as I can tell,
this happens only on the desktop machine; the subfolder of the same name on
the laptop machine remains visible to the desktop.
Sounds like a Registry key needs to be fixed but I have no idea of what it
might be. Any suggestions for fixing this problem?
